THREE SIMPLE STEPS

How to use Compress Image to 30KB

  1. 01

Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image. The limit starts at 30 KB.

  2. 02

Keep JPG for photos, or select WebP or PNG. Select Compress image.

  3. 03

Review the size and dimensions, then download the image if it suits your upload requirements.

Understanding your file size limit

The 30 KB limit is a maximum, not an exact byte count. PixNimble searches for the highest JPEG or WebP quality that fits, then reduces dimensions if needed. Small limits can remove fine detail; use a tightly cropped image and check small text carefully. Here, 1 KB is 1,024 bytes and 1 MB is 1,048,576 bytes.

Supported formats

Upload JPG, PNG or WebP images. Export JPG, PNG or WebP. HEIC uses a local decoder when needed; AVIF depends on browser support. Maximum input: 40 MB and 32 megapixels. Animated files export as a single still image.

A few helpful answers

Will the file be exactly 30 KB?

No. The tool aims for 30 KB or less (30,720 bytes). It reports the measured output size and only marks the target met when the file fits.

Will a 30 KB target change my dimensions?

Possibly. The compressor lowers quality first for JPG and WebP. If that is not enough, it reduces dimensions. PNG is lossless, so its dimensions may need to shrink sooner.
